I feel very fortunate to have found an individual as passionate and hard working as Will for something as mundane and foreign to me as HVAC. I was very nervous going in because I knew so little about HVAC. From the start Will came off as straight shooter that could be trusted. He was very good at explaining the scope of work involved, something I did not get from other companies! He was great about answering questions and it felt like he was excited to explain things. The full system replacement he did for us was exceptional; the new unit was installed with great care and neatness. It goes beyond that, though. While he was giving me an estimate, he looked at my sump pump and asked me a few questions about it. Basically the water level looked high and he wanted to make sure it was working. So this guy spends like 15 minutes trying to get this thing to trigger. I feel like for most that would be an "eh not worth the trouble at this point" when I insisted to not worry about it when he had to go to his truck but he insisted. He had to get a special bit to open the cover so we could add water. It was just the most above and beyond experience I've had with a skilled tradesman. It was just somebody being a good person. With 10+ years of experience you can't go wrong with Will. His communication was solid, his pricing was more competitive than other large HVAC companies, and it was a painless process. Might have been two weeks from estimate to the installation being done. This is a business I definitely recommend to others!

Fast, fair, thorough, incredibly knowledgeable and a straight shooter. Gets it done when others couldn't. Quite possibly heroic, depending on your circumstances, as he takes calls later than most regular business hours. He's the gold standard for mechanical services in Central Virginia, as far as my restaurant is concerned.

I recommend Willy for Water Heater replacement and repair work!! He is hard working professional with pleasant personality. My tankless water heater needed repair. Willy talked to manufacturer on my behalf to get parts under warranty for free. He then installed broken heat exchanger which is no small feat since it requires overhauling the whole unit, replacing almost all major parts.

He is a very hard worker!!! Would highly recommend him!!! Wonderful company!!!

Chilly Willy is the man I’ve bought a 1998 single wide and the HVAC system had been badly abused he showed up in a very timely matter and cleaned my neglected ‘98 HVAC system photos are before he cleaned parts in my unit but it’s blowing really strong and quiet plus has it cooling really well, like his saying says “don’t be silly call Willy” thanks Willy

“Chilly Willy” replaced my aging HVAC system. This required relocating the outdoor, pouring a cement pad, changing to a smart thermostat, modifying the air handler connections to the existing ductwork and installing wiring from the electrical panel to the air handler. As surprises were encountered he approached each issue with a never surrender attitude until the job was finished. It was appreciated to be continually updated on issues and resolutions plus being on site as promised. I would feel secure recommending Chilly Willy to friends and family.

Most up to date technology. Guy can fix any problem quickly usually has parts on truck with him. He also does installs with new homes. He is hands down the guy you want to working in your home treats you like family and knows every brand in and out. Wouldn’t use anyone else.

Second time I’ve had to call for some help with my older AC unit. Will comes by same day and gives me a fair and honest service. Will use them when it’s finally time to replace the system. Would recommend!

Our outside HVAC unit went bad on 1/15/24. I had recommendations to call Chilly Willy Mechanical LLC, He came down and gave me a better price than any other HVAC Company. He put a new Trane inside and out, as well as new lines, wires and thermostat. My wife and I are very well pleased. He explained how to use the new equipment and called twice to make sure all is working well and to see if we were satisfied. He did a great job and I wouldn't call anyone else. I call Willy at 4pm advise him we had no heat (with an outside temperature of 25 degrees). He arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs. While looking over the unit Willy discovered the emergency heat was not functioning properly. After few minutes Willy had the emergency heat working. I would highly recommend Chilly Willy

Working with this company has been an excellent experience. Initially they came out to diagnose why my old system was off and had me back on with heat that night. The system was back off the next morning but not due to them. It was old and I already knew not long for the world. Will quickly sent me several very reasonable quotes for a completely new system, and installed it in the evenings when I was home from work rather than needing me to take days off from work. He has contacted me several times since doing the work to make sure I'm the whole system is operating well. We have all new duct work as well which is wonderful, especially after seeing the inside of the old system. I will continue to use this company to service and maintain the system. Both Will, the owner, and all of his guys were incredibly respectful of our space and left the property better than they found it hauling out all of the trash from the job as well as some other things they found in the way the previous owner left. This is a great company to work with, I am glad I found them through their previous Google reviews.

My husband and I woke up on a peaceful saturday morning and enjoyed our morning coffee like normal when suddenly we hear what sounded like a super loud lawn mower right outside our back door. Suddenly our hvac system stopped. My husband being a mechanic walked outside and tried a few things that he knew of and called a few buddies that he knew but couldnt get anywhere with it. Right then he knew we had to call a professional. We called several companies and nobody wanted to come out on a Saturday apparently. When my husband called Will he immediately said "Man I can be there in an hour to take a look". He showed up about an hour and a half later. (our house is a little complicated to find) Our issue wasnt very straight forward at all.. After 7 very tiresome hours he was finally able to find the issue. Excuse me but I am not very smart when it comes to this stuff but I believe a wire had burnt somewhere inside the house but it was almost 9pm when Will finally found the issue. However he never gave up even when he seemed stomped he got on his phone and called a friend for some advice to figure out the issue was somewhere inside the house rather than outside. We bought this house 5 years ago and was told by the seller that the ac system had been replaced in 2018... after Will checked into things and saw the date on the unit itself it was quickly determined that the unit was a 1999 unit.. And the best thing to do at this point was replace the entire system. Wills prices LITERALLY beat everyone elses. This man not only came in the cheapest, he stayed in touch about arrival of the unit, worked tirelessly, several nights til late in the evening to make sure my family wasnt left uncomfortable in the heat for too many days and even fixed duct work that had been messed up for years. I highly recommend using Will for any HVAC needs. I know me and my family are extremely grateful and will continue to use him and spread his name for many years to come!
